DJ CUFF always knew music was meant for him; it runs in his blood. With him being a native of Baltimore, MD and with a mother from Philadelphia, PA it was only natural that soulful and sonically appealing sounds were incorporated in his upbringing. “When I was a 7 years old my uncle gave me my first drum. It was a pure oak snare drum that he tuned and designed himself, he passed it down to me. I will never forget that day because it was the beginning of forever.” DJ CUFF since then has learned how to play multiple percussion instruments and to this day has his first drum 15+ years later.

With his percussion background and abilities, at the young age of 13 he was taught the art of the DJ by his elder cousin and prominent Baltimore DJ; DJ Solo. However, he did not begin to take the craft seriously until his collegiate years at the illustrious campus of North Carolina A&T State University in 2015. During his time in North Carolina DJ CUFF was able to become a campus DJ and entertain over thousands of students and alumni through his style of DJing known as “The Variety Pack”. This collegiate beginning allowed for multiple doors to open and a business practice to be born. Since then DJ CUFF has DJ’d weddings, lounge/club events, pep rallies, private events, and so much more.

Newly added to his musical arsenal is “beat production”. DJ CUFF is now proficient in the DAW software Maschine and is now venturing into Logic Pro X. With musicianship, DJing, and production he hopes to reach the ears of the masses and the souls of everyone.
